Guided by his half-century of experience, Master Distiller Billy Walker has implemented a philosophy of wood innovation and sourced the world’s finest casks to elevate the spirit to its optimum, delivering a truly exceptional single malt.

Created from a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons along with a small quantity of Virgin Oak casks and red wine barriques, the resulting bronze spirit delivers sherry-matured sophistication. The GlenAllachie 8 Year Old is bottled at 46%, non chill filtered and natural colour for maximum flavour experience.

GlenAllachie is a Scottish whisky distillery located in the Speyside region of Scotland. It was founded in 1967 by William Delmé-Evans, who was also responsible for designing and building the distillery.

GlenAllachie was initially used as a blending whisky for the Mackinlay McPherson and White Horse blends, but it was eventually purchased by Pernod Ricard in 1989 and became part of the Chivas Brothers portfolio.

In 2017, GlenAllachie was sold to a group of investors led by Billy Walker, a veteran of the whisky industry who had previously worked at other distilleries such as BenRiach and GlenDronach. Under his leadership, GlenAllachie has undergone a significant transformation, with the release of new expressions and the expansion of its production facilities.

GlenAllachie produces a range of single malt whiskies, including 10-year-old, 12-year-old, and 15-year-old expressions, as well as cask strength and limited edition bottlings. The whisky is known for its fruity and floral notes, as well as its smooth and balanced flavour profile.
