Deanston 12 Year Old 2008 Oloroso Cask Matured Limited Edition

Fully matured in Oloroso sherry casks for 12 years, this Limited Edition whisky is full of sweet notes. Chocolate and fruit are balanced with a touch of pine and warming Christmas spice.

Filled into Oloroso sherry casks on th 4th September 2008, this whisky has spent 12 years maturing in our vaulted ceiling warehouse at Deanston Distillery.   

The dry, nutty sherry flavours from the Oloroso casks combined with smooth, sweet, honeyed Deanston single malt is a match made in heaven - treacle toffee and fruit notes are expertly balanced with festive spices.  

This whisky is limited to 13,227 bottles and bottled at 52.7% abv, non-chillfiltered and natural colour.

Cherries and chocolate reminiscent of a black forest gateaux, followed by sweet spice, nutmeg and sultanas.

Palate

Treacle toffee, dark fruits and festive spice with hints of mocha and a touch of pine.

Finish

Long and warming finish with notes of gingerbread and nutmeg.
