The Barons Ricasoli have occupied Brolio for 10 centuries since they established it in 1141, and during this time they have shaped the history of the Chianti Classico territory and its wines. Ricasoli continues to give new meaning to the wine and winemaking culture. One of the four oldest family wine estates in the world.

This fragrant, crisp and fresh wine is rather unique. The Merlot is made as a classic rose style, then blended with the Sangiovese which was vinified as a white wine, without any skin contact. A delicate rose petal colour, subtle with notes of rosehip, violet and cherry, bright, sappy acidity and a refreshing finish.
