About Glenfarclas
Glenfarclas, in Ballindalloch, Speyside, has been owned and run by the Grant family since 1865, which makes it one of Scotland's few truly independent distilleries. Its six direct-fired stills are the largest on Speyside, and the distillery is known for maturing in sherry casks.

Maturation
Aged for 12 years, mainly in Oloroso sherry casks.

Nose

Fresh and light, with sherried fruit, spicy sweetness and a hint of oak.

Palate

Full-bodied, with sherried fruit, oak and plenty of sweetness.

Finish

Long and flavourful, with lingering spice.

How to enjoy
Good neat or with a splash of water. Try it with fruitcake, dates or a cheese board. It's also a safe, well-loved gift for anyone getting into single malts.
