A rich, smooth añejo for sipping. Aged for over a year in oak, Gran Centenario Añejo is full of vanilla and caramel sweetness, which makes it a great choice for whisky lovers curious about tequila.
About Gran Centenario
Gran Centenario's story began in 1857 with Lázaro Gallardo, a tavern owner in Tequila, Jalisco, and the brand launched in 1895. It's handcrafted in small batches at Hacienda Los Camichines in the highlands of Jalisco from 100% blue Weber agave.
How it's made
100% blue agave, aged in American oak and blended using the house's signature "Selección Suave" method, which combines tequilas of different ages for a smooth yet complex profile.
Nose
Vanilla, caramel and roasted agave.
Palate
Smooth and sweet, with caramel, vanilla and a hint of chargrilled agave.
Finish
Sweet, with warm baking spice.
How to enjoy
Sip it neat or with one ice cube, like a good whisky. It's also lovely in an Añejo Old Fashioned, and it goes well with dark chocolate or caramel desserts.
