Loch Gorm is the name given to our annual sherry matured limited edition.  Named after Islay’s largest freshwater loch neighbouring the distillery, the dark murky colour of the loch’s water is reflected in the rich coppery tones of our sherry matured Loch Gorm release. The 2024 edition was distilled in 2014 and matured in 23 oloroso sherry butts previously used by Bodega José y Miguel Martín.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Waves of sweet BBQ smoke and cooked fruits with dark chocolate and dried figs.

Palate: Delicate peat smoke combined with honey roasted nuts, cinnamon and malted barley.

Finish: Fresh notes of citrus and rich toffee.
