Springbank Local Barley 11 Year Old (Dec 2022), 55.1%

Local Belgravia barley grown at Glencraigs farm was used in the production of this bottling. The barley was malted on Springbank's own malting floors using age old techniques. Matured in a combination of sherry, bourbon and rum casks for 11 years before being bottled in December 2022.

There are aromas of papaya, mango and lemon, along with subtle floral notes on the nose. On the palate there are citrus elements combined with notes of manuka honey and pear drops. Salty, mineral flavours develops over time with soft peat smoke on the finish.
