About Talisker
Talisker sits on the shores of Loch Harport on the Isle of Skye, and for a long time it was the island's only distillery. Its coastal setting shows up in every glass as a salty, maritime character and a well-known black-pepper kick.

Maturation
Aged for at least 10 years in American oak casks.

Nose

Fresh and fragrant. Thick peat smoke gives way to sweet pear and apple peel, with a pinch of sea salt, kippers and seaweed.

Palate

A crackling peat bonfire with black pepper, brine and dry barley, balanced by orchard fruit.

Finish

Long, with glowing embers, toasted malt and a sugary sweetness underneath.

How to enjoy
Neat or with a drop of water. It's a natural match for oysters, grilled seafood or smoked fish, and makes a great smoky highball with soda water and a twist of lemon.
